How to Use

Select and Install your Mount
The Mantis’s highly usable design permits quick and easy use. Our mounting brackets attach to various environments with minimum effort. Tighten a few screws, clamps, or drill a few holes and your mount is ready to receive your Mantis whenever you want it. Most mounts remain in position with little or no interference.

Attach and Deploy your Mantis
Once you have attached your mount, from the closed position, simply “plug” your Mantis into its universal mount. To deploy, you need only to loosen the knob at the top of the lower spine and swing the upper spine to your preferred angle. Then simply pull out one or both sides of the fabric top and you are ready to go. Tweak any angle or height adjustments as necessary.

The inherent trade off between weight and strength has carefully been considered in our design. All metal parts were selected to avoid corrosion. All of Mantis' metal parts, and its mounting brackets, are made of powder coated 6061 aluminum, stainless steel, or other corrosion resistant metal ensuring rust free performance.

Mantis' fabric was selected for its high degree of UV protection, abrasion, rot, and mildew resistance, minimal shrinkage, colorfastness, and choice of colors.
